FYI folks...

I called my MSDW broker and asked him to beg the loan department for some shares to short.

He called them up... and as soon as the word Amazon.com left his mouth they emphatically told him, "NO!!!" without even checking.

Me thinks many many people are trying to reclaim salvage value from the titanic, besides us.

Anyhow, he promised to check continually for me and let me know as soon as this MSDW status changes. Datek is also refusing to loan short shares today, as well. @#$@#$%@#%!!!!!!!

Regards,

-- Eric

<<The Associates Program is THE biggest reason for Amazon's sales success. It is also a big reason why the stock is at astronomical levels, IMO. Lots of associates love the participation that the internet provides and confuse that enthusiasm with the stock. Truth is that the internet is about enabling the "little guy". >>

I heard that amzn tries to rip off the associates out of their commisions. You heard anything about this?
