Colleen:

I am always impressed by your ability to write so much and say so little.

>>>a poster verified that the expansion was underway<<<

Was that Mitch or KenM?

>>>AND..let's also not forget about the property in their division where a mere 20-30 yards away was one of the biggest oil discoveries in the past decade..AND the company is VERY interested in purchasing the property from EDII, reportedly for a very large sum.<<<

Was that reported by Gort or Gutman? We have been hearing this for months. Why haven't they sold the land? Because its not worth the price. And statements like these cause SEC intervention if coming from someone credible.

And if HDTV is so hot, why did the companies get in trouble? To much competition, lowering revenue and margins. Taking an analog signal and tranferring it to digital is not a technological hurdle. Most studios will have the capabilities to perform this in-house. Within a year you may be able to do the same on your PC.

Still waiting for you to add value.

...and it too is extremely undervalued...

Oh? Source for this?

wouldn't you guess that this property has escalated in value, too....

I'd really rather NOT guess. I'd rather see the numbers.

and let's see Acqueren comes along with NorthEastern Plastics...not valued in the 1997 financial report...

Not valued anywhere. The only figure mentioned in connection with this acquisition was that Northeastern Plastics expects $10 in revenues this year. There was no discussion of debt or projected earnings. How much are these two outfits worth? Who knows?

and how about Cinema Research?

Yes, indeed. How ABOUT Cinema Research? Is EDII still planning to buy them, or only Electronic Pictures? It seemed odd to me that although in the last press release it was stated that Electronic Pictures would be working with Cinema Research on its conversion of 35mm film to HDTV format, there was no allusion to the "fact" that Cinema Research would soon be part of the EDII family. And of course we don't know what Electronic Pictures is worth, what was paid for them, what their revenues, earnings, debt are, if any.

Colleen, you have ably demonstrated in the past that you're quite new to reading and understanding financial statements. I suggest you listen to WW, and learn from him. He's a pro.
