Mark and Rob,
Thanks for clearing that up for me. It IS weird for Intel to be making Alphas for CPQ/DEC. I thought INTC just bought the Alpha to squash it but I had neglected the anti-trust angle.

I am considering a small position in CPQ with some funds from GTW. I need to talk to a buddy of mine that used to work for CPQ and see what he has to say.

Correct, except that the foundry deal requires Intel to produce Alphas for 7 years 'using the latest process technology', so when Intel goes to .18 so does Alpha, etc.
