Electric: OT---- If nothing is happening good to me on the market cause I can't trade on this laptop ...... or I COULD trade but am dang sure not going to ....gggg you and the BlueCelt are keeping me laughing about the golfer balls ..... I recall, a long time ago, when my father in law was tired of listening to me moan and groan, whine and cry, .... etc ..... he said for me to memorize what the Bantam Ben Hogan had as a belief concerning the game of golf . "It is not the one who hits the ball the best, it is not the one who hits the ball the straightest it is not the one who hits the ball the fartherest it is the one who MAKES THE LEAST MISTAKES who wins at the game of golf............... he proceeded to illustrate his point by immediately taking us both to the nearest course where we both played 18 holes with but a single stick ----- a 5 iron ..... no putter, no other stick...... he shoots something like a 74 and I better my best round of the previous month ....... I think I shoot 85 or 86 ....... the next day, after a couple of buckets I get back to shooting my normal 78 .... now this was a LONG TIME AGO ...... but the story still has lotsa lessons to be learned inside it ..... Regards ---- Nemer EDIT I just read Electric's post --- the truth is I"ve not hit a golfer ball in over 5 years my handicap (real, not sandbagged) will properly be 15 , give or take a wee bit ....and NO grinning ...... matter of fact, I'll see if I can locate some sticks in the attic, the ones which my son has not absconded with and go hit a bucket tomorrow..... and I will tell the truth about how it went ....... I really suspect a 15 is about right...... any weekend in Oct is ok with me. .... my ex brother in law lives in Vegas and he used to play about a 20 --- of course at that time he was a colonel USAF and he could have gotten better, but I doubt it ...... gggg he would probably enjoy meeting and playing with us
