I've scanned the first one, Brooke. Do you use any of the MS 6.5 stuff based on the 2nd one? Someone on CIS recommended another book over Nison that I'm trying to recall. AMZN shows a book by Greg Morris; any feedback on it? [His hard sell of the top 743 indicators turned me off, but guess ya do what ya hav'ta.] Bob

Brooke, MetaStock for Windows 6.5 arrived today and I just installed it on my computer. One question come up immediately, when I select file new and go to open a new file, the program seems to default to j:\equis\samples to look for data files. I would really like the system to look in the c:\meta\symbols directory which is the QP+ virtual directory. I can go to the directory manually, but then see only a listing of other directories. Does not MSWIN read from the top most directory like GET? I would have thought that MSWIN would read MS data files? What am I missing? --- webb --
