Greg,
I don't currently own any tester stocks. I have owned both Teradyne and LTX in the past. Right now the tester prospects don't look very good. Record orders last year followed by this Asia problem. The Book to Bill at Teradyne last quarter really stunk. I think it was around .62 and they had some significant order cancellation. I've been through enough of these dips to know that they don't go away quickly. Institutional investors need a good story to invest in these stocks. Shrinking orders just isn't that story, so the price will just drift lower and lower until the order picture turns around. When the order picture will turn around is anybody's guess, but I'm going to wait at least another quarter (maybe two) before I put any money into a tester stock.

Good luck to all you brave souls,

Mike Botham
