ATEC was acquired by IATA today. Interesting for a couple reasons...ATEC was a hardware and distribution company that had a subsidiary, Logix, that did IT-side Y2K work. The company that acquired ATEC is more interested in the hardware/distribution stuff. The curious thing is that ATEC is based in Denver, CO. If TAVA could scrape up some $$$, they might be able to buy these guys for a song since they might not fit into IAT's overall plans. Don't know where they'd get the money, though...
