Hello, John, your warmth overcometh the coldness of the computer.

What Say I of Jesus? He is my personal Saviour, Mediator, King,
Leader: "Come, follow me." He died on calvary, skull place, that I might have eternal life; I belong to Him, bought with the price of His precious blood. Scripture identifies Jesus as:

The only begotten Son of God John 3:18
The image of the invisible God
The firstborn of every creature Col 1:15
The beginning of the creation of God Rev 3:14
The maker of all things other than Himself Col 1:16-18
Eternally subject to the Father 1 Cor 15:28

DICTIONARY OF THE BIBLE J L. McKenzie, Society of Jesus, 899, TRINITY:
"The trinity of God is defined by the Church as the belief that in God are three persons who subsist in one nature. The belief as so defined was reached only in the 4th and 5th centuries AD and hence is not explicitly and formally a biblical belief. The trinity of persons within the unity of nature is defined in terms of "person" and "nature" which are Greek philosophical terms; actually the terms do not appear in the Bible. The trinitarian definitions arose as the result of long controversies.... it is necessary to recall that in Catholic belief the trinity of persons within the unity of nature is a mystery which ultimately escapes understanding....The OT does not contain suggestions or forshadowing of the trinity."

Under GOD, pg 317: "John 1:1 should rigorously be translated 'the word was with the God, and the word was a divine being."

An AMERICAN TRANSLATION Smith & Goodspeed: "The Word was divine"
NWT: "The Word was a God."
EMPHATIC DIAGLOTT, interlinear reading: "a God was the Word"

5 times Jesus called His Father "my God," 4 in Rev 3:12 & Jn 20:17,
see also Eph. 1:3. If 3 closely related males were of equal age, power and authority they would be called "brothers" not father & son? 77 times Jesus is identified as the "Son of man" 60+ times as the "Son of God" but never as "GOD THE SON!"

John, you switched subjects and ignored the careful documentation I provided. There's a river of scripture testifying to the simple truth that Christ suffered death for us, the same total sleep we would experience forever were it not for His perfectly equal sacrifice. [= to Adam] Having died, spent 3 days in Hades/Sheol, He could not be God. "The dead know not anything." Ecc 9:5&10 Ps 146:4

Moody led no one to Christ, but to a Grecian synthesized pagan Catholic mystery. One mystery leads to another: For God's sake, John, can't you recognize that Jehovah's loving kindness endures forever, all his dealings are based on Love, God is LOVE,
not a fiend who sentences most of mankind into AN EVERLASTING AUSCHWITZ FROM WHICH HE WILL NEVER LET THEM DIE?

"They shall sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake" Jer 51:39 & 57

May Holy Spirit guide your heart and mind, John!

Don

John, Don(DLL), and Steve. I would like your opinion on this post.

Message 5400375

It seems Shalom has a quorum on "The Seventh Angel" and we need some input to back our doctrine up.
Thanks,
Santiago
