Lisa,

>>>>> took a look at the 1 minute chart on the SPX... we went up right after your post......but did the tick go positive when it went up????

and how much of a move are you looking at..or are you still in the beginning stages of figuring out how much movement comes with the differentiation of the up versus down numbers on your MOMO indicator
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

After I got that first signal the tick only got to about positive-100.

My MOMO indicator, as you call it, is still in test stages but it does look very promising.

I just checked and the UP-MOMENTUM lost a little strength and is now flat/even, so its now a flip of the coin as to whether we end up in positive territory.

Take a look at the the last 6 days and include today on the OEX and Stook a look at the 1 minute chart on the SPX and OEX. Do you notice the short-term downward trend line.

Seeya

<get Patrick's wife and your gal to use their prowess for the market )>

Mine has offered but I just cannot get comfortable with the idea.

It appears to be a bit like E-Wave....one person says this, another that, and I don't understand either. So if I don't understand it I cannot trade it.

I am short at the moment because I sense a slide but timing this is a pain in the neck. The volatility can kill you. Sometimes the markets with these big swings can be very hard on a day-trader.
