Emile, You have said so much that I disagree with here, I could not address it all, and I won't. I will however extract key points and get back to our scripture study ...... "This obsession with endtime prophecies is a sure sign of a young Christian's immaturity." Are goal at the beginning of this study was to see if there was any truth to your opinion that the "Old Testament" was already fulfilled and the promises the Lord gave to Israel and the Jews were completed. You said, "The Old Testament is fulfilled but the precepts and holy Words are eternal because they are the word of God." My contention is your wrong about the Old Testament, because it is not fulfilled. There are promises to the Jews left. And that's what I'm trying to show you. So my focus on the endtime prophecies are for this purpose, to show you that you are in error about them, not because as you say, because I'm immature. And Emile, you show no respect or love to God or his holy scriptures if you think the Old Testament is already fulfilled. It's disrespectful to God, in my humble opinion! Emile, I always have agreed with you that the New Covenant fulfilled the Old Covenant. Its your view of the Old Testament and the Jews, frankly I am concerned about. Hope that clears that issue up for you about the Old Covenant and the Old Testament! Now back to our study of Hebrews.... You have defined Israel and the Jews, as the House of Judah and House of Israel. Then you later define the biblical meaning of Israel and the Jews to be having the Faith of Abraham SEED. So here is the question, please answer it. The House of Israel God was making the covenant with in Hebrews 8 or Jeremiah 31, which one of the above was it, the House Of Judah/Israel or Faith of Abraham SEED? Or am I wrong, and you have not defined who Israel is yet in Hebrews 8 or Jeremiah 31? I am looking forward to your response.... God Bless, Steve
