Thanks! That's good to know. DOPs can't take up much space, so I'll know to go with them if I do this.

I think if I decided no to do any scanning in WOW, I'd stay with the virtuals. But scanning virts seems way to slow to put up with.

I'm really not sure which is better. Maybe once I did the original conversion and had it all set up, it would be easy to maintain.

Not sure what you mean by WOW 'likes' dop's, Dick.

I don't use them with WOW, but seem to recall SC needing them.

Took lots of space on FAT16 -- not a problem for NT or FAT32.
