DesktopDVD handles DVD-Video

Sonic Solutions and Adaptec Inc. have blended their Digital Video Disc offerings to create an integrated production system for business users. The result, DesktopDVD 1.0.1, shipped in late July.

The Toast DVD software from Adaptec of Milpitas, Calif., has been incorporated into Sonic's DesktopDVD, a single-workstation system that creates digital video and DVD-ROM content.
