I too am mystified at the market's reaction to ADBE. After all, ADBE reported a decent quarter most recently. My take on this is that ADBE is on everyone's list of companies that get a lot of revenue from Japan, so as long as Japan is in the dumps, ADBE is treated the same. What people don't realize is that ADBE has a larger percentage of revenue from Japan because Apple has a larger share of PC sales in Japan. And Apple is taking off again. I have to believe that stronger Apple revenue will off-set the lower revenues in Japan. I have nothing to back up this opinion, but I think ADBE is way oversold.

Tom, >>Joan - you still comfortable with ADBE?

I was surfing and found your message. IMO, Adobe is not going away. For the record at the moment I do not have a position in Adobe, BTW, this is the first time in years. I am keeping an eye on the stock to take a position but until this market stabilizes one never knows where these stocks will trade. Adobe stock is different now, that is after it was added to the S&P 500, and it will get taken down with the rest of the index. I suspect people are taking their money out of the index funds at the moment. I agree the value is there but I also believe I will be able to buy it at a lower price.

I have expected to get a dead cat bounce in this market a few DJ 100 points ago but it is not happening and think it is prudent to wait on taking long positions until things change like the A/D, HI/LOW, etc.
