funk,

Looking at a double modem or Web Ring solution. Both are appealing. Have 2 lines currently (one work, one family) and would go to 3 if it would solve the problem. That modem is way out of stock and non orderable at Diamond right now.

Am also going to go ahead and order me a nice PII400 from Gateway. My P133 is having chart update problems w/Signal due to its video board. Rather than get a new board, better a machine that I can use for a few years.

If that trader using Web Ring lurks onto this, I'd like some comment about how easy/hard the set up was. TIA.

Alan

funk,

Have found at least 3 ISPs here in Denver metro that will support multi modems, all for 30-32/ unlimited per month. Im going to go ahead and have US West add a 3rd line so I can monopolize 2 of them. If I order now, US West may install before the millenium. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I can't see bandwidth deterioration with this protocol. In other words, if each modem connects at 28.8, I'll have 57 kps input and output.

Funny thing: have RTIII installed and testing it. Was concerned my P133 couldn't handle the graphics but its having no problem. But the program is so powerful, its a crime not to run it on multiple monitors so I'm keeping my order in for the P400 which will have the horsepower to push all those graphics pages.
