Just went and looked---she was diagnosed June 20th! She was only 65. Buffalo Bob, Shari Lewis----our childhood is evaporating before our eyes.... And things come in threes....... The generation in front that protected us from seeing over the inevitable ledge seems to be disappearing-there are big gaps now. In my greyest moments, I feel as if I'm on a conveyor belt---with all these little Weebles tumbling off in front of me. Some next to me even fall off the side out of turn... Then other times, I feel anticipation about the unavoidable tumble. Who knows what's below! It all depends on how much sleep I've had the night before.
