Joseph Beltran; .... Would never ''advise'' anyone on specific picks - but start your research on these... RIG, EVI , FGII , SLB you'll kind of have it covered. IMHO , all will continue to grow, all well run and segment leaders. It would be like having Mantle, Dimaggio, Ruth & Gehrig hitting 2,3,4,5, for you... over time; you'll win more than your fair share of games ! I would never invest short term money in volatile stocks - but with the time you mentioned you have - 9-10 years; you'll be able to send her to Vassar in a new car, prepay for her wedding & give them a 20% down payment for their new house as a wedding gift and then take a 2nd honeymoon with your wife when it's all over in your new 60' boat! ...but I tend to be a ''bit'' more optimistic than most. Good Luck.... Fidelity Select Energy fund wouldn't be a bad call here as well, or like energy fund with similar track record. But then that takes the adrenalin rush thing out of the picture.
