Thank you for your informative post.

Did you call a reseller and try a 1-month trial of
Portico? Do this, and then if you still think
it is a scam, post on this board again.

Until then, some might think you are just another
panicked lemming who doesn't have a clue what this
firm is about.

I'm buying and holding. Check in again in 3 months.

Thanks for the info Tim, I forgot that Ohio is the true epicenter for high-tech information and leading edge technology. I will sell on your informed words tomorrow.

Again keep up the good work.

You could of course be right. Now it's a difficult time to be positive but panic mentality is really not a time to sell especially when there really is no negative news. The rollout occurred as expected and in my conversation today with IR we talked about the widely varying amounts of knowledge of the resellers. I asked her specifically how GMGC follows up to insure their resellers have adequate knowledge to sell the product and she said while some resellers came aboard early on (like Chicago's Corporate Wireless and PNG computer in Staten Island) some came late and have only recently received training. Then of course it's time to inform the actual sales staff. Yeah, to doomsayers this sounds like delay but it's the reality of business. If the second quarter from now doesn't show much
in the way of sales, or if telcos decide not to pursue, then I will take my losses and go away broke. I earlier posted the PNG tel nbr for anyone who is interested to call and hear a live demo with the released version-salesman plugs you into his account. Then tell me it's a silly idea with no future and a hype company.

By the way as a former corporate lawyer I never bought into the idea that the composition of the board means anything and still don't; it's usually an honorary position for perks.

Has anyone 'out there in Ohio' ever heard of a yet-to-make-profits company called Amazon.com? If so, was it one year or two years after they had established dominance in their own domain? Would you have called Amazon (if you've heard of it yet) a scam in 1997?

Get real.

While I feel bad for those who lost their shirts ...

I've been looking for this opportunity for a while now.

I've been watching GMGC for quite a while. The MagicCap was a cool technology but a little before its time (and not very well implemented .. nothing like the PalmPilot :) When I heard about Portico, I thought what a perfect use for GM's 'agent' technology, but the stock had already 'soared' into the teens (had been away too long)

Friday my 9 alert went off and I decided to get in .. (@ 8.5) ... today I extended @ 6.

This will recover. It will take an OEM deal, but everyone knows this (including GM management). I'm positive the discussions are going on (especially considering the make up of the GM board). The First OEM deal will be a win-win for GM and the telco.

So are you going to short @ 7 Tim? lol

Well, whatever, but what you describe are human qualities/failings...and I'd rather have compassion for them rather than contempt.

Thanks GMGC! I covered today for a 50% profit in just a couple of months. Not bad if I do say so myself! I shorted GMGC when it shot up, and I expressed my opinion here that GMGC needs time to grow-- and a good level to do that would be at the $8 or $9 level. Well, I was a little off in my predictions, but I'll take the extra cash regardless!

BTW, if you think this group of longs has a hard head, try the Iomega thread. They still don't get why IOM is in the dumps.
