When the buyers return, they will be buying on a relative valuation basis. The focus on a pre-earnings rally is appropriate if one is flipping trades, not necessarily for positional trades.

Thus CSCO is not that expensive on a relative valuation basis. If telecom/networking is the next growth area, the funds will buy CSCO since it is the best and best valued in the sector. LU ranks second at the moment in my book on relative valuation , mostly because its earnings will be diluted by some major acquisition not too far down the line.

Long on CSCO, resistance at 97ish, next target 105-107 ... hopefully before it sees 90 again.
