There is an element of validity as they have to gather the payment data and submit it and record it. I suspect that if you atekd them and it turned out they had paid at 3PM the land would not actually be declared open. If it was declared open then those who staked ay 12:01 AM(or whetever legal stake time is et there) would be ranked in order of the times filed/staked. This means that when you look and se what land has not been paid for and stake it you take a chance you may win or the payment may arrive. ? In Ontario you do assessment work of a certain value and you must ubmit the work 2 months prior to the deadline, or you can tell them 1 month prior that certain delineated work will arrive and then you have until the lst minute to file it. In addition you have state requirements as well as BLM requirements and also the homesatead act can enter into it. So make sure that office in Feenix is the BLM office and not AZBOM or? AZBOM, sure sounds like something that should smell bad. Bill
