A couple of minor points before I log off for the night.

I believe the company felt they were stuck with the language from Ledoux. The news was going to be badly recieved and I suspect they didn't want to risk being accused of spinning the data. This is just my speculation as no one has told me this.

As far as the delay in getting further clarification from Ledoux I believe this is more the usual when dealing with labs. My own opinion is that this analysis takes much longer than we have been led or led ourselves to believe. I have tried to use the example of Taseko Mines in several posts to show how long it takes to complete such a report. It is my opinion that the original results from the first few holes should not have been released until the entire program had been completed. This is the industry norm. If that had been down I don't believe the problem with the check labs would have been published and the stock would not have gotten bombed. This is definitely hindsight on my part as I was hooked on the constant fix of happy news just as much as anyone else. But we were all wrong on this. BTW this is pure soapbox stuff as I think there is zero chance of the company or shareholders sitting still for more responsible reporting of drill results.

I think we all overestimate how much interest Allen & Co has had in Naxos and how much effort they would have had in 'advising' Naxos. I do not know the people at Allen & Co but doubt this is the type of equity they would have been interested in without a lot more proof. They are not as gullible as we are. I strongly suspect that some people have thrown about their 'contact' with Allen & Co in support of their own self interest. I cannot prove tis of course but this is what I suspect.
