I'm sure you're not forgetting that the K6-2 L2 runs at 100 Mhz, while the K6-3 L2 will run at 350 and 400 Mhz. Does half the cache size and four times the speed translate into 10-15% better performance?

Scumbria,

Don't forget that the K6-3 offers certain architectural enhancesments to boost performance in addition to the onboard L2. I.E. Improved FPU core (for none 3D-Now stuff, and probably a boost for 3D-Now apps)..
