Chris, Thank you for your post. I really don't want to go to far into Jeremiah yet, as we are studying Hebrews and might not have to get this far in Jeremiah. However, to address this statement only right now, "This portion has been fulfilled but if it wasn't written in the New Testament would you have known where to divide the line between what has been fulfilled and what hasn't? Can you take the other passages and prove they have not been fulfilled just because they are not as clearly revealed? ", God reveals clearly everything necessary to prove the truthfulness and perfect nature of his word. I'm not sure of your stand on Daniel and other scripture, but look at the amazing accuracy he always fulfills scripture with. He always has proven and made sure we knew about everything clearly, that has been fulfillment of scripture. Look at Christ himself. It has been proven and clearly fulfilled every detail about him, including to the day he would come! (If anyone is interested I could show you to the year, and my pastor to the day, of when Messiah would come. I will post it if anyone wants!) His life and death, and everything about him was clearly revealed, with pinpoint accuracy and clarity. So to your question, "Can you take the other passages and prove they have not been fulfilled just because they are not as clearly revealed?" I would say yes! Clear and perfect revealing is God's way of operating (you know he's perfect), and history proves he has always done it this way! But please don't take it from me! Let's continue to study and we will see the hand of God clearly, if we are blessed, what prophecy is fulfilled and what might not be. God Bless You Chris and I would like to get back to your post, specifically about Jeremiah, very soon. Steve
