Dear Steve,
Allot of the reason we feel so bad about Jesus is because of the horrendous acts done to Jews in His name. The position of the modern Jew has been enforced by many years of Inquisitions, Crusades, and the Holocaust. Just reading this thread is evidence of that hatred demonstrated in the name of Jesus is still prevalent.
The best verse for what Bob did and I give to all on this thread is 1 Corinthians 9:20-23
20 And unto the Jew I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law.
21 To them that are without the law, as without the law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak;
I AM MADE ALL THINGS TO ALL MEN, that I might by all means save some.
23 And this I do for the gospel's sake that I might be partaker thereof with you.
Paul was far from what is called a people pleaser, he only lived to serve and please his Master. So this is the example of evangelism he gave us that was effective enough to evangelise almost the entire world. We see the fruit it produced for Bob with Steve and I can give many others.
So the insults to anyone like DOnald using the Hebrew prayers is not appropriate according to these verses. Maybe modern Judaism would soften if the Church did first.
God bless you,
Nancy
