Janice! My hearty congrats to you on this your 15,000th SI post! I'm still trying to find one you made on Rambi a little over a year ago, the one in which you became indelibly etched in the hearts and minds of the your adoring fan club at SI as a domestic maven par excellance. I loved that one, I did! They're kidding, though, aren't they? You're not really running in 2 megs of memory with a 40-meg hard drive, are you? The 486 and 14.4 modem I can readily believe, however. But then, I believed Clinton when he said he didn't inhale. I must say that the doorbell transformer and steam iron are nice and appropriate touches, serving to underline your creative use of small appliances. Can anyone thing of a good synonym for "appropriate?" We need one--desperately! Holly
