<<Ah mighty Microsoft, unstoppable, omnipotent, dominating everyone forever; just like "big steel" in the early 1900s; RCA in the 1920s; the railroads in the 1930s; etc.. Don't be so sure the trust busters are overmatched. Bill Gates has deep pockets, superb PR, and legions of sycophants (some of them CEOs), but the DOJ has
evidence, persistence, and they want his scalp.>>

Robert, they're having this discussion over on the NOVL thread too, where a new poster has stirred things up by saying MSFT will roll over every company, Novell included.

Remember, Jim Cramer knows Joel Klein and says he's a genius.

Microsoft is way too dangerous to short, but you have to love the wall of worry created by competing with Microsoft. It can lead to real bargains, ala AAPL and NOVL.

Marc

Don't forget that Microsoft has millions of dollars invested in Apple.
I wonder if they have something Bill Gates wants...?
