It is an interesting contrast between the euphoria we all felt after the most recent QCOM earnings and today.

FWIW I think the Q is performing admirably! It got a significant bit higher than I woulda thunk this market would give it on those results and its been hangin quite good in relation to this market. Which if you ain't noticed is as fickle as its been in a long while and with the attention span of a gnat. Notwithstanding global corrections, that cuts both ways. Just wait till the future is more clearly in focus.

My life brightened considerably since I sold off my Q and got out of everything else but then - after a bit of sherry and not so sober reflection - bought back 2/3 of prior Q holdings. Overly concentrated yes I am. I too would like to have been benefiting from all these great performers I see with the wisdom of hindsight. The Q is the only one I really feel has got the goods for a 10/20 bagger over the medium to long term. Meanwhile I now know I can withstand the inevitable future rough patches.

You've gotten some good and heartfelt responses in my estimation. I concur. I think you should lighten the load a bit.

I'm off to hike the Selkirk Mountains (British Columbia, Canada) for a week. Ahhhhh. Best wishes to all
