We'll know soon enough what the stain is. I doubt much it is as you suspect.

The allegations against the President are perjury, obstruction, subornation of perjury and abuse of office. Those are serious charges with or without reference to Iran/Conra. In fact those are the same charges Richard Nixon was forced to resign over. Was Watergate pretty dull stuff too? JLA

While I suspect you're just a quick hitter here, I need to ask you two questions:

1. Regarding "this is pretty dull stuff compared to Iran Contra", tell me, do you enjoy watching paint dry? Tell us, just how exiting was Iran-Contra?

2. Are you a professional baseball player?

Just wondering.

Iran/Contra was an attempt by a Democrat Congress to criminalize policy decisions by the Executive Branch. They failed despite spending seven years and over $70 million.

Clinton's myriad scandals represent what looks more and more like the Executive Branch being turned into an actual criminal enterprise. No president has ridden roughshod over the laws and Constitution as has Clinton.

When all is said and done, Clinton's scandals will eclipse Nixon's and Watergate in both scope and seriousness. Heck, Clinton's illegal campaign fundraising where he got cash from China in return for missile and human rights waivers is historically unparalleled evidence of mendacious corruption.

If Clinton does not resign he will stand impeached and be tried in the Senate.
