Hi Dan....

Have been following VLSI ever since you brought it to everyone's attention awhile back. Even moved in and out several times, most of the time profitable. When I saw it trading below $14 this afternoon, and didn't find any news, I couldn't resist and jumped on it again.

Company news release talks about Richard Beyer, President & COO, departing for personal reasons. Nothing on Legal Counsel's split, yet!? biz.yahoo.com

I know the chart is crap, but you got to love VLSI at this level. Looking for a nice bounce tomorrow, and wishing I didn't have so much tied up in NSCP!

Regards,

Jack

Dan, re: VLSI; everything is breaking down except for a narrow group of index stocks. In this environment, the only way to get a winner is to wait a bit. The semi's have been fairly strong lately; ADI hasn't capitulated much. Downside on VLSI might be in the 11's; probably will hold up pretty well.

Dan:

You were right about both executives leaving. Beyer, Pres./COO was announced last night, however, VLSI has not made public the departure of their General Legal Counsel. This according to San Jose paper...

Sounds like VLSI has additional downside risk, even if the market turns around. Too many negatives to hang on...I'm out at the open tomorrow.

Regards,

Jack

Dan,
At this price IRF has to look very tempting. I'm
looking for a rebound this week.
