I understand what your saying and my concern is not the health of the tech stocks alone but of the whole market. A lot of layoffs have been announced in other industries as well. It's hard to find an industry that is going great guns other than the banks and airlines. Of course when the layoffs run their course they will take those companies down too. With Asia and Russia in mess it seems that good news could be some time off and that could help promote the negative attitude and sell off. In '87 no one was spared.
