Thanks for the info, Street Walker
The G200 has plenty of power for me and I'll probably buy it next week. Although the card may have over 200hz refresh no monitor can actually display that. The monitor I'll be getting is a Mag 17" 1280X1024 and it can only put out 65Hz at that res. Mags seem to be the best deals; but is that because they are low quality or just good deals?

The Auxiliary

I am two or three weeks behind with the index. The home improvement projects have taken a lot of my time. I will filter back through the posts and select the more informative in the not to distant future.

Lots of excitement on Wall Street too. I have to spend some time looking for bargains! The oil service sector may start looking good before too long. How low can it go?

Zeuspaul, I just found out the Matrox G200 is sold with SGRAM and WRAM. Which one is faster? The WRAM is more expensive but that doesn't always mean better. By the way, that board with a K6 3D now chip would pump out huge FPS ratings. I will still go with the 17" mag. I wouldn't spend more than $300 for a monitor. Also, going with multimonitor setups for stock trading wouldn't be as good as an investment as putting the money in a stock instead, unless you have tons of cash to invest.
