Will SRCM report poor quarterly results?

Before last quarter's earnings release, SRCM management said they were comfortable with analyst estimates in a couple of conference calls. They then reported lower than expected losses (partially due to a higher share count) with revenues lower than expected and receivables much higher than normal (even after allowing for the acquisitions).

In response to a question about Q2 results in the recent conference call, Tim Peters said they would be "explained" in the regular earnings release call, and that he couldn't comment right now.

Since I am very suspicious of this management team anyway, and I think the telephone business is in decline, I read it as telegraphing a bad result. But maybe I am too much suspicious.

What do you and the other longs think?

Regards,

Archer

The Scrotum was down 7.35 pct vs the pathetic Russel 2000 down 1.5 pct. Don't blame the fact that the Scro is shrivelling up faster than well, a certain part of the anatomy after diving in freezing cold water.

The Scro was down, in part due to the excellent Journalistic efforts of the New York Post, one of the finest business papers on the planet and in part to the inexorable plunge to single digits that the Scro seems to be headed towards.

Mr. Pink

BTW, your identity page rocks the house

SW:

From a silent long -- market is down big.

SRCM is... up!

Maybe there's brass inside this "scrotum" (as opposed to pink mothballs). We'll see.

Stay long.
