LEAPS. Wow! Has anyone been looking at those LEAPS lately? My God are they taking a beating. I'm only a point away from break-even on the LOR LEAPS I own, after refusing to sell back at 10 and change earlier this year.

This market definitely looks like it has caught the asian flu. I am patiently waiting now, with no further purchases except my DRPs, for this market to calm down. LOR has taken a bit of a pounding as of late, which tempts me to buy more, but without any real earnings yet, I will have to pass on this sell-off for now. Plus, I have already taken some new positions early in this sell-off that wiped out my cash reserve earmarked for investing.

Anyone buying at this point, or is everyone sitting on the sideline for this sell-off? I figure that LOR will rebound once the G* launch is successful. Speaking of G*, that one has been hammered even more than LOR. I am so tempted to buy more, but have no cash at the ready. I am already sitting on top of a sizable loss on G*, and would love to add to that position at these low levels, but am not sure how low it will go at this time.

Whew!

LOR gettin pounded!

As predicted, a bear is upon LOR. Quite understandable, really. It seems that investors are getting more hard-nosed about grand experiments with questionable earnings projections.
