Morgan Stanley analyst Mark Edelstone said he expected chip giant Intel to be "one of the biggest beneficiaries of the improvement during the next several months." Intel has faced some price pressures from competitors such as Advanced Micro Devices, but nothing like the massive oversupply memory chipmakers face.

I agree. IBM seems to have great Research. They have deep pockets, vast distribution channels and marketing might, but when it comes to direct competition with MSFT or INTC they are inept.
