I use quotes plus and MSwin 6.5.

Mike,
I can read the virtual data with MS, but it only reads the files in the one single directory and not the entire list. I had set up a virtual list of all of the stocks in the data base and GET reads the entire list (something like 40+ sub-directories), but MS will only look at one at a time.

I will try out more things tonight when I return from work.

I keep smart charts, off.

Right Webb, that is what I have been saying. Metastock and WOW will read only 1 dir of 255 at a time. Until metastock improves and shares its file management with others, it will always be that way. you faced the same thing with TC2000 in MSWIN.

Now that you got that one, see why it pays to cut your dir. down by scanning to the best stocks.
