We need to get this Newmont Rumor confirmed somehow. It does seem quite probable to me for several reasons. 1) Newmont says they are looking for acquistions and/or partners in latest news release-heck they have a big ad on their webpage 2)Newmont has been eyeing Golden Eagle-looks like they have interest in S. America(Confirmed WSJ article) 3)Newmont has fininacial clot to start new ventures. 4)MDIN put out a news release several months ago stating interest by more than one major 5)Mike J says its so-KMT thinks Mike J. is in the know. 6)Ralph has indicated to me interest in majors-strongly hinted that something is in the works. Anyone else have other info to add to the list?
