Road Runner's Affiliates Exceed 100,000 Customer

Thread,
For investment decision making, Fore Systems (Symbol:FORE) packet switching equipment was used to build the Road Runner network in central Florida. It's a fiber/coax(HFC) network that has an OC-48 backbone. Each home connects with a 10BaseT-equivalent (10 Mbps throughput). And they used Motorola cable modems. And I believe, Dycom Industries(symbol:DY) strung the fiber (but I could be mistaken).

I don't know who supplied the optical equipment, the transmitters and receivers. Wish I did.
