Well, fortunately most analysts do not make recommendations based only upon rumor, irresponsible speculation, and MSFTphobia. Can you image the turmoil in the markets if they didn't base their buy/sell recommendations on any kind of solid research of markets and company valuations/balance sheets?? It would be terrible! Yes Microsoft is probably going to control the world? Everyone that makes software should be afraid! Perhaps every software comapany (except MSFT) should be downgraded, because MSFT rules? It would make more cents to downgrade every stock in the market (including the almighty Microsoft) due to the recent NASDAQ trend: ASIA turmoil, Slick Willy sex scandal, lack luster earnings reports.
