You said "Shorts only make a damage not contribution.".. I believe you're quite wrong on that one. Shorts are a part of a healthy portfolio and helps deflect the pain of unexpected events like the recent meltdown (of the market in general). While I'm not short GMGC, my other shorts have done great (and the companies turns out to be scams no less).

If you believe in a company and what it's providing, buy it. If you don't believe in a company, short it. It's simple as that. People can talk up/down a stock all they want. In the end it's the market that rules.

There's always going to be a few bad apples in every group you can identify in society, and I'm sure there are more scam artists pumping and dumping stocks than there are evil short sellers. Don't get emotional with your money buddy... at least you've got your health and family.
