FWIW the Point & Figure weekly advance / decline indicator, which is a very slow moving indicator, gave a buy signal in April of 1995 and gave a sell signal last week. This indicator does not predict the future but it does tell us that the market is very weak right now.

Duke60 - Do you know if it has given any other buy or sell indications since 1990 or 1991 or even since 1995?

I think I read that this indicator was only 40% accurate which is less than the "George Washington Indicator" I carry in my pocket. Nice thing about my indicator, besides flipping it for exercise, I can save 4 of them and get a Coke.

**OT remember getting a coke for a quarter? I hear some remember getting it for a nickle. I must be in the wrong business as PCs give more for less money each year while sugar water gets more money every year and higher valuations too! I can sure see why HP and Intel place such importance on "branding"...
