Mohan, thanks for clarifying the "9.25% yield". I think the RIBs are indeed a good deal, and will be putting some money into them. How to earn 16% on 7.75% India Resurgent Bonds? Hmm... a) I wouldn't touch the idea mentioned in that article, if the loan is at a variable rate set a few basis points above LIBOR. b) I doubt any banks would be interested in doing such a deal with the few thousands of dollars that I have.
