$1100 a phone line seems a little pricey. Granted the VSAT can do more but who is gonna pay for all the pricey support equipment? US Taxpayers, again. Risk/reward ratio is out of wack here. Lockheed is willing to step in only so they can call in some favors later.

How come the Wall Street Wonders dont pick up on the fact that Zenit just pushed two off within 18 days? No main launchers can do that.

Valuer, thanks for the scoop. Whose DAMA was it? Not ViaSat's presumably. Any idea what the telephone penetration is like in Romania? My thinking is, hey, if they can use the local VSAT telephone booth model in Eastern Europe, it's gotta be pretty decent.
