Since they haven't issued a warning about earnings (although expectations have been lowered so much that it's hard to imagine they could have much lower than current expectations, which are way negative anyway), maybe folks are hoping for an upside surprise or good news...in the past (before the last 2 quarters), the stock used to always rally a few weeks before earnings...maybe that trend is coming back. Monday's news was pretty decent as well, although nothing earth-shattering. Mark.
