Borders Group Signs IntelliSourcing -- SM -- Contract with Syntel, Inc. Business Editors TROY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 1998--Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE:BGP), one of the largest retailers of books and music in the world, has signed a multi-million dollar, multi-year contract with Syntel, Inc. (NASDAQ:SYNT). Under this fixed-fee contract, Syntel will assist with the ongoing management of Borders' Year 2000 compliance project as well as provide value-added maintenance services to further enhance Borders' efforts.
