I once answered a first semester socratic question by saying "I have nothing relevant to say" because I hadn't read the case and hadn't had a chance to look through one of those casenote legal briefs....... let's just say it didnt go over too well and the class was shocked but I didnt give a damn... Professor Jegen who is a well known tax professor is famous for his scathing questions one time he made fun of some guy and said.. what's wrong ..cant you see...look at what the problem says...or is your brain just not thinking if you even have a brain (and the guy was blind and he didnt know it....or at least that is how the story goes....) boo hiss on overbearing law professors ;-)
