Alan: the reason for the laptop instead of the desktop is I'm moving my trading office from my home to the house my folks lived in which is now in the estate settlement catagory ......... my stepfather had a life estate in the realestate but has purchased a little spread of 20 acre and house ------ which has set into motion the estate liquidation ..... I'm moving over there for a while because of the requirements of the insurance on contents. ..... I did blow the HD , I evidently didn't treat it gingerly enough in the move ...... I won't trade OEX and SPX and not sit on top of the deal with real time ....... the laptop is too slow to do it. OK ----- to your question ..... ----> I'm curious as to what the SPX series means; that is: 1100....1108....1110....1111...1112....1114....1118...1120... these are points of floor/ceiling .... resistance/support which I post several times per day when I'm on line and trading. or even on line and not trading ..... I've found that sometimes the best trade is NO trade ......gggg no one is holding a gun to my head making me initate a trade... For example, I just posted a trade I made OEX calls over on the Trader Tom thread (SS & RTF --- that's systems and strategies and something else.....ggg) that I had to drive to the brokers office to do ..... If you're in search of a calm thread where everything is reasoned out fully and folks are rational ----- it ain't here........ GGGG Ask any more questions you have, and you won't get much but in the way of answers but answers as a general rule .... but it might be a tad hard to understand. ..... but rest assured, Lisa will ask and ask and ask and ask .........
