T.G.W., I have good news and bad news. . .

First the good news...

I won a 1 year subscription to SI!

Now for the bad news...

I won a 1 year subscription to SI!

We now have at least 12 additional months to become better friends!

Now, you said...

Sorry JJ I apologize, it was meant for Big Red.

Apology accepted. Just don't let it happen again!

I do not think GLOW will become fully reporting soon.

I think they will.

Call the company and ask them when the audit will be complete?

Good idea! I think I will!

Audit has to be done long before they submit the paperwork.

Wrongo, reindeer breath! During my former life as an accountant, it was not unusual for the audit to be "completed" (for an audit to be "completed", it must be signed off by the engagement manager) the same day the 10-K was filed. It certainly required a little running around (depending on what those little annoying auditors recommended), but it was accomplished. Now, with that said, since this is an "initial" audit, I'm sure there will be some changes required to the financials, footnotes, and MD&A. Some may be significant. However, even when we had significant changes required by the auditor, it didn't take any more than a day or two to reflect them in the filing.

...but My instincts tell me that it is not close to being done.

You know how important YOUR instincts are to ME. ;-)

If I were Bob Davis I would not retract it either at this point.

And, if I were Bill Clinton, I wouldn't retract anything at this point, either. I'm not Bill Clinton and you're not Bob Davis.

Unless GLOW issues a press release very soon, they will be guilty by omission.

Wait a minute. Some yahoo sets up a two-bit web page...announces he is some kind of expert...writes an article and posts on message boards an interpretation of a two-bit newspaper's article about GLOW that is grossly in error...is proven beyond a reasonable doubt he is wrong...the company already has a press release out there that refutes absolutely everything Davis said...and you claim if the company doesn't respond to Davis' blunder, they will be guilty by omission? Where the hell did you learn law?

Just my opinion of course.

And very valuable opinion it is! Thanks! I appreciate it!

With respect to Mr. Timothy, I believe he has been embarrassed by the whole thing...

I AGREE! Which is PRECISELY why Gary SHOULDN'T respond to Bob Davis! He'd legitimize Bob in doing so. Bob has already totally illegitimized himself IMHO.

...and may very well change his position if he ever had one.

According to a quote by Mr. Timothy in The Independent, he was at least considering one<--That much we know for certain.

What I am saying in Global Games defense is that if they ever had a signed agreement, it may now be in jeopardy since the business people on the island are alerted to the government possibly getting into the gambling business.

I sincerely doubt the government would have been able to keep their gambling site a secret once it opened (I'm sure they wouldn't want to). In other words, the business people would have found out anyway!

Pressure can change things.

True, but I don't see any pressure over and above what would otherwise have occurred.

You Best Bulletin Board Buddy...FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS!!!
