I. too, have lost all respect for one Mr. Acompura.

His inconsistent, wishy-washy, change-on-a-dime prognostications have now placed him into the same camp as Her Ladyship, a camp of market misfits.

Re: Here is my market forecast: "We will trade between 7400 and 10,000 for the rest of the year."

I believe that forecast has a high likelihood of coming true. That's similar to Lady Elaine's recent forecast.

Best wishes,

I2

At 7400 I don't believe you will be a happy camper.

Re: Oh, don't forget jumpin' Joe Granville who has us at 10k by labor day.

Since I have defended the Motley brothers as well as Micheal Eisner, I may as well step up to the plate and say something nice about Mr. Granville. Jolt'n Joe was Mr. Bear all throughout the early 90's and to make it worse, he was a gold bug. In the summer of 1996, his "indicators" turned bullish and he's been steadfastly and outspokenly bullish ever since. Joe is always interesting and engaging, a trait shared by the Foolish brothers, and for the past two years, absolutely correct on the market. So his predicted target is a few percentage points higher then Brinker's, big deal. Joe is one of a kind and at well into his 70s, still plugging away in a very tough business.

Right or wrong, I have great respect for Joe, for his contributions to technical analysis, for his staying power and for his showmanship. Joe is one of the few talking heads on CNBC that is honored with my turning up the sound on the remote.....a rare and high compliment these days.

Justa,

Great comments on Ralph "I'll make you poorer".
