kathleen-- dont tell him that. the service pack is really only sugar and cream. if you buy it from MSFT, it costs $59.99 and comes with explorer which you dont really need. just tell him to go to the store and pick up sugar and cream for around $2.00. that will give him the performance increase<G>. good luck to all, trey

Kathleen, that rules! Hey, this conference bounce looks kinda familiar. late-July/early-August 1997 RS Conference Message: Demand is up; prices are up. Price action: a +33.3% move from roughly 45 to 60. late-July 1998/early August 1998 RS Conference Message: Demand is up; prices are up. Price action: a +33.3% move from roughly 27 to 36. I'm hopeful history will repeat itself, although on the demand end IMHO things are probably better than they were last year, holding everything equal, if only for the fact that the players switching to more BTO have probably made the inventory adjustment.
