Hi Barbara, A "TDT" is a "Tom Dietz Thing". Generally a very risky trade that no sane person would do. Sometimes contrarian, usually counter-intuitive, but most of the time I do have a reason that may not seem obvious at the time for entering into a TDT. But I do get a beating sometimes. My least successfull TDT to date is buying puts on YHOO as it made its ascent to from $100 to $200. More recently I bought ASND August calls on Friday and Yesterday and exited this morning (still have some longer term calls and shares) for a nice profit. Tom
