COHU has been trashed over the past 2 months. Today's news that MOT has a new way to test chips prior to packaging, could be the cause for the big drop at the open. Less ATE = less handlers?

Andrew, would you care to comment on the future of COHU's technology? and TER? And anything else that you might add ... its been lonely today without hearing from you <g>

TIA

*AV*--There will definitely be a flight to quality. look at how the outrageously run up stocks are caving these days. If ALYD keeps putting up the numbers they have and Gruder admits he is an idiot for stating the aggressive 1998 expected Revenues, the market will forgive him and people will return. ALYD is a quality companpany with good forward looking fundamentals. The bond market looks good now but everything I am seeing is leading me to the conclusion that the investment community views the tech sector as having bottomed out. Now is the wrong time to being a "weak hand" and selling into the "stronger hands".

Remember, "You need to know when to hold them and when you need to fold them." Well, if you hold em now, you damn well better not fold em.<GGG>
